
Lucy Suchman is professor emerita of Anthropology of Science and Technology at Lancaster University, in the United Kingdom, also known for her work at Xerox PARC. She is a longstanding critic of human-computer interaction, and the uses of AI, in contemporary war fighting, in military training and simulation, and in surveillance.

Oskarina Veronica Fuentes Anaya is a Venezuelan engineer who took up data platform work to put herself through University. With the extreme blockade-sanctions on Venezuela by the USA, its economy tanked and engineering work became scarce. So Oskarina continued working on data platforms, earning very little, considering her degree. She produced an animated movie to describe the hardships of data platform work worldwide.

Wanda Mosley grew up in the US South, living and working in Georgia. She is currently deputy policy director for Black Voters Matter Fund. Wanda tackles the serious problem of data center expansion in the South, and she’s tying the right to vote to the right to resist the environmental and health risks of data center expansion in Georgia.
