PROGRAM 46: BIOS

Samah Salaime is the founder of Na’am/Arab Women in the Center. A social worker, she lives and works with her family in the Israeli-Palestinian peace community Neve Shalom/Wahat al-Salaam, and is a regular writer on Local Call, +972 Magazine and Ha’aretz.  She is also a regular TV commentator, where she advocates for gender equality, and focuses on violence against Palestinian women. 

Ariela Ben Ishay is a social psychologist, a scholar of human development, and a facilitator of group and intergroup processes, focusing on diversity, conflict transformation and organizational development.  Ariela is an activist and promoter of human rights, equity and social justice.  She helped to found the Israeli-Palestinian peace community Neve Shalom-Wahat al Salaam and its tri-lingual School of Peace.
